The workshop, targeting the experiences acquired by the first communication, emission inventory studies and the consultations with the partners was hold in Georgia combining the countries not contained in EK I and Turkey by the scope of National Communications Support Programme (NCSP) with the support of UNDP/UNEP and GEF.

The congress, at which the GEF Project Management will join with their presentation on 'Global Warming, Climate Change and Turkey' s National Communication Studies' will take place at November 22-24 2005 at Istanbul Technical University' s Ayazağa Campus, Süleyman DEMİREL Cultural Center. GEF Project Manager Günay APAK will contribute to the Congress with a presentation on at the first session of the first day of the congress in the afternoon about the National Inventory and National Communication Activities carried out within the scope of the implementation of UNFCCC in Turkey. The congress will focus on the themes of 'National Environment Policies & Clean Production'. 2005-11-18
